Are flower crowns still all the rage?
With fall wedding season among us, we’re seeing lots of ivory, pale pinks, champagne, and earth tones. Along with these colors, whimsical and fairy like flowers with flowing hair and headpieces. But, what kind of headpieces?
So, are flower crowns still relevant, or are they SO 2014? They actually will never be out of style! Ukrainian women wear flower crowns to symbolize peace, and others to show a sign of accomplishment and/or status (think olympic wreaths). With any evolving trend, we actually see a shift in flower crowns being higher, more dramatic, and filled with statement. Dior featured them in their recent runway show(see above picture), sky high, some even with black and feathers. When choosing any accessory for a your wedding, pick where you want your focus to be, whether its your bright red lip, your mile long train, or in this case…maybe your flower crown! This is one trend, that isn’t a trend. Flower crowns have proven the test of time, and i couldn’t be happier about it.
